Mattie had received the news a couple of days ago but still didn’t have the heart to break it to his friends till yesterday which he did over a mass email.  Mattie had to tell his friends that he was leaving Japan and going back to his old hometown of Cairns Australia, for good.  His father Rusty was no longer going to be working with the Tokyo

The wheels of the skateboard created a steady hum as Kasai arrived at Mattie's housing complex. Skateboarding wasn't allowed in most public places in Japan, but Kasai rode it anyway, coming in to no trouble on the route. He jumped off the board at the gate and collected it under his arms. He was saddened that his friend was leaving; Mattie and him had been friends since the start of school. He still planned to keep in contact with his friend even if he was on a different island, but it wouldn't be the same.

He buzzed the door and waited.

Mattie was curious to see who would get here first so he excitedly opened the door. Seeing Kasai he didn't even give him a chance to do anything before glomping him in a big hug. "Dude so glad you are here." Stepping back he held the door open. "First one here meaning you get the dibs on food."

"Of course I'm here. I wouldn't miss this. And I'm coming with you to the airport. Gotta see my lover boy off to his land down under," he said while walking in. "If I eat all the food, would it postpone you from leaving?"

"Unfortunately no and I would be amazed if you could eat all the food. I would love to have you see me off at the airport....do you think Ritsuko will come?" he asked uncertain.

Rika walked to Mattie's place alone, she had mentioned to Ryo she was going but didn't know if her boyfriend would show up or not. It wasn't like he was friends with Matte, Rika was only close to him because of Ritsuko and she really did want to wish Mattie good luck on the move. Arriving she knocked to announce her presence.

Hearing the knock Mattie looked at Kasai in a 'we will continue this momentarily' look before answering the door. "Rika! I am glad you are here." He opened the door to let her in slightly disappointed a certain red hair girl was not with her.

"OHAYOOOOOOO~ Mattie hold the door!" Jiro was trotting towards them.

Mattie smiled as he spotted Jiro and kept the door open. "I hope your cousin is coming as well."
