woah! so tired!
Sooo! It's like 1.15 on Friday and I'm now going on my 4th day of no sleep. I've fallen asleep of couple of times during random intervals in the day, like on Jeff's huge beanbag-like bed thing (you know those ones int eh mall?! it looks like a huge beanbag, but you can unzip it and turn it into a bed too) this morning. I cut out of work early lastnite( 11 hmm wow, SO early) to go to the Ten13Concept show.... yes, now you want me to talk about how it was. However being the brutally honest person I AM, especially when the subject pertains to music, I don't know if it's in my best inerest to do so. Oh hell....
A.) Not the best Ten13Concept show I've seen. AND I ALWAYD go see them, even when I can't afford the time to do so. What can I say, I'm a loyal friend, but more-- a devoted fan.
b.) Again, haven't slept in some days, so obviously this is gonna effect things a little. HOWEVER, maybe it was just me, but the band seemed to beabout as energetic as I was. Please dont' hate me, but I thought Joe and Mike both were wearing plastered smiles. Never seen that before. I KNOW they love what they are doing and are SO passionate abotu their art. But I have no idea what was going on.
c.) I KNOW I KNOW, New Drummer. WHO BY THE WAY, I would like to congratulate for pulling off his first show. YES I HEARD MISTAKES. BUT I HEARD THEM FROM OTHER MEMBERS TOO. I'm not an idiot, I know music porbably better than anyone. You did wonderful, non fabulous under all that pressure. Congrats.
d.) Guys, I don't know what's beaten' ya, but get rid of it, it really showed in the performance lastnite, and I KNOW ya'll are some of the best Talent Gainesville has to offer right now.
WXYZ.) I love you guys, you know it. So don't think I've just being a bitch. I want the best for ya'll, and you sure as hell know it. What other librarian comes to ya'll show, still in work clothes and heels( my god they were killing me)? You better knock my sox off next time. I know you will:)
