yagkyas stories are up! Mine is one of them, but I think that basically everyone on my flist who reads Generation Kill has at some point been pulled into my vortex of desperate PLS HELP, so any challenges to guess which fic is mine would be kind of hollow and empty. I haven't read any of them except for my gift yet, but I'm going to rec my gift to you because I treasure it to my heart. It's wonderful.
Rolling Down.
It's about Doc Bryan, and it's a sharp, spare look inside his head through some of the series. I am so impressed by how much the writer managed to convey in such a short space of words, and Doc rings through absolutely crystal clear in all of his blazingly amazing glory. I could basically quote every line at you all, so I won't. But just, here:
"You all right, brother?" Lovell asks him, stopping on the way back from the T-L meeting. He looks like they all do. Tired as fuck, dirty and losing weight.
"Perfect," Tim answers, thrusting the shovel harder into the sand. Everything is fucking perfect.
So amazing, so full of how much Doc cares, so many ♥s for this story.
