ETA, after Skyping with my dad: ugh, ugh, I need good answers for this because they need a good joint birthday present because they've just offered to transform my overdraft into debt to them rather than debt to the bank off their own initiative, when I was expecting to have to go cap in hand sometime after I get back from Japan and before I hypothetically go to Sudan. I ♥♥♥ my parents, they're such good parents. (Uh. Not because they offer to give me money, but because they think about my life and how to make it better.) (Remind me of this next time I hate their faces because I have to share the same house with them for longer than three weeks.) (Actually, don't, it will just annoy me.)

I have a day off tomorrow, and I've made a to-do list, which is better than my usual DO ALL THE THINGS approach to days off which ends up with days in which I don't actually wear clothes or open my curtains. I also have white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake, made by my downstairs neighbour. And I went for a run at seven am this morning (
tevere, my email this week will be full of achievement!). Also, I'm in Japan, did you know? Like, actually in Japan. :DDD
