So I have two enduring questions of age-old importance for you, DW/LJ.
The first is to do with that job in Sudan, which I am going to take. I think. Although I am not guaranteed to be placed where I want, at all, and in fact this all might be slightly fruitless, there is theoretically the option of indicating whether I'd prefer to be working in Khartoum or outside of Khartoum (Atbara, El Obeid, Kassala, Gedaref, Wad Medani, and Dongola are the towns named as possibilities, but a) that means nothing to me and b) I suspect it depends on chatting to the universities and stuff and that therefore there might be other options/fewer* options).
Here are the two main things that pull me one way or another: in Khartoum, there are opportunities to do work with displaced people, and outside of Khartoum it seems likely that my relationships with local people will form quicker and stronger. There are other pluses to each (more foreigners, more multicultural and probably slightly higher standards of accommodation in Khartoum, but cheaper and slower and possibly easier to navigate outside of Khartoum) but those are the two things which make me go, "oh, but..." every time I think I've made a decision.
TELL ME WHAT TO DO, DW/LJ. And then I will ignore you, possibly. But I will appreciate the input! ♥
And then the other question is relating to
Scrivener and is for people who have and use it.
View poll: Using my paid account like a boss *I totally just corrected 'less' to 'fewer' because I've just been chatting with a friend about how that distinction is probably going to die out soon because it doesn't exactly preserve necessary information, so I'm currently on High Countable Vs. Non-Countable Alert. Normally, it would be 'less', and I'm not ashamed.
