Takeru! He has such a big heart - and I love origin stories, so thanks for writing one for Takeru and Sho.

But only for a little while. Takeru doesn't want the kid to have any illusions about whether it will be a happy ending or not, and he thinks darkly that it's for the best, really, that Masaru knew what he's getting into, and, just as Fuu had said, to get out as soon as he can.

There are no miracles in Trick Heart. Takeru wishes that he had known sooner.

This broke my heart a little - and really, it's amazing that Atadan is mostly a comedy, but when you think about the lives each son had prior to being adopted, and then when they are --

Sorry, overexcitement from me. This was lovely. The last few lines about illusions and miracles and happy endings was especially brilliant, since it's very true. Nicely done! :)
