Now this is a bit different. I've seen fics where Luke came back with Asch's memories, but not the other way around. It didn't even occur to me that it could've happened this way.

I like this hesitant, apologetic Asch. By toning down his usual hotheadedness, you've made it as apparent as it ever will be how similar he and Luke are. I know that was your intention, so I have to applaud your ability to enforce character rather than invent it. There's a difference between letting a situation create a personality and letting a personality create a situation. There are a lot of people who allow the former for kicks, but I really admire the people who can do the latter because they're usually the ones who understand the characters the best

That story was absolutely awesome.

You got their character right on the dot, and I like how Asch didn't cut his hair.

I was smiling while reading the whole thing.
