Summary: Ueda Tatsuya is in love with Nishikido Ryo. He has been since the first time he saw Ryo on the first day of high school. More than 7 years he loved him-considering he is now a junior in college. It had been a secret crush for the first year because back then Ryo was popular, and well...he was nobody. The first day school came and went. Tatsuya does not remember what happened that day after he saw that guy, whom he thought about all day. But one thing he remembers doing is listening the girls' talk. He knew that it was the easiest way to get information about his crush. And he was right. Almost every girl in his class was talking about "the cute, rich boy with limousine"-plus some guys. Not everybody knew who he was since it was the first day for freshmen; therefore, the one who had information about him became the leader of classes. In his class, the one who knew everything was a really outgoing girl with a cute ponytail. Everyone crowded around her for information.
nbsp; Thankfully, Tatsuya sat not much far so he did not have to act eager to hear about his crush. Apparently, that girl is a VIP member of the "Shy Prince” fanclub. Shy Prince is apparently the name of the fandom? Tatsuya was kind of clueless about that word. It is dedicated to Nishikido Ryo and has over million official members. Tatsuya was not sure what that was, how that works and what they do as members but he listened on. It also made him more hopeless, though! Millions of girls are on Ryo's palm, so why would he look at Tatsuya? The girl with the ponytail- Tatsuya could not catch her name- talked on with everyone's attention on her. On top of his -obviously-celebrity-like look and cute personality, he is said to be really kind. He always donates to poor shelters, even opened few and supplies them with his own allowance. Additionally, he is candidate to be heir to the Japan's one of the biggest corporation. So he has the background, money, looks, personality, fame and the brain.
nbsp; Tatsuya has lost all hope and confidence by the time he finished hearing that parts. The girl was still babbling on, but he did not hear anymore. What is the point of torturing himself when he already knows that he is not worth Ryo? He knows he is crushing on the infamous Nishikido Ryo really badly that his heart hurts so much for the space that is between them. However, he decides to just let it be. He remembers the time Tomohisa got his first crush, and his brother said it goes away after a while. Now, he just has to wait until his feeling evaporate. Tatsuya is sure it will, soon. In the meantime, he decides, he will enjoy his first crush. He enjoyed the feeling he got when he first saw him. Even if it was hard to breathe, his heart jumped around in his chest, all his thoughts and noises around him disappeared bringing him peace, all his body got tingly and shivers ran through his spine…in a good way. It was just like what he read in a book-which he only read because Tomohisa made him for some reason.
nbsp; Before he knew it, the last bell rang and students swarmed out their classes-looking for freedom they had before school started. Tatsuya knows that he was a little bit absent-minded throughout the day, but he also knows no one approached him nor showed interest about him. He expected it, but it does not mean it does not hurt to be proven right. When he was walking down the path to the gate, he heard the girls’ (really audible) whispering and giggles behind him. He knew the cause of it immediately. He turned around, as anticipated there was Ryo with his friends coming out of school laughing and talking. Tatsuya got all the feelings above, again at the sight of Ryo. Even it was momentary, he was addicted to those feelings, now.
nbsp; He sees that Ryo and his gang are walking to his direction-with the girls still tailing after him. He does know that is impossible, but he hoped that Ryo would walk up to him and talk to him. That is why he got that heart piercing disappointment when Ryo just walked past him without glance and all the girls running over him trying to follow their prince. He should not have hoped, he scolds himself. It will hurt more if he does. He is nobody, after all.
nbsp; By the time he pulled himself together to regains his mind and body, the crowd has dissipated, since the prince was picked up by his driver. Sighing, Tatsuya starts walking again. Just in one day, he felt the happiest and most addictive feeling by seeing Ryo and then he also felt the most soul crushing and heart piercing hurt. Now he is thinking, “Maybe it is more than just a crush.”
nbsp; However, he is convinced that his feeling is pointless. Even if he was rich and popular, he has heard more than enough times from his former classmates that he is weird and ugly. Even though, Tomohisa always tried to shield him from others, he knew how people viewed him. But their disapproval was only verbal, since Tomohisa is kind of in a Ryo-like status at his school. And harming Tatsuya would make him/her an enemy of Tomohisa and his gang-no one wanted that.
nbsp; Then he started to think about all the time that Tomohisa tried to convince him about paying more attention to his looks. Tomohisa always said that if he changes his hair and style, he is not bad looking. Before, Tatsuya never had a reason to be better-looking. He thought it was stupid for people to judge him for his appearance. However, now, his mind is changed. Didn’t he just infatuated by Ryo after only single look? So, his standpoint was proven wrong… by himself.
nbsp; Tatsuya suddenly straightened his ever-bowing head and for the first time he got a fire of determination in his eyes. He smirked. He made up his mind. He would do ANYTHING to get the attention of infamous Nishikido Ryo and will not give up until he hears the word “I will not love you”. If he hears that words from Ryo himself, he promises himself that then he will give up!
nbsp; With a silent nod of encouragement to himself, he walks hurriedly home to make Tomohisa’s dream come true.

More babbling: I was supposed to cover his feeling about having a gaysual feelings but just could not find a right time to do that... *i want kind of realistic, so i guess next chapter then* But is it fine? That he just got determined to change himself all of a sudden. I feel like it is moving too fast *hmm*
