(no subject)
WOOOOT!!! How great was English SL paper 1 today? I was really surprised by how much easier it was than I thought it would be. I'm not saying I got like a 6 or 7, but I'm pretty sure I pulled a 4 on the paper 1. Paper 2 on monday is going to bite me in the ass though.
I chose to write about prose, rather than poetry. The poetry was pretty easy though. The only reason I didn't write about it was because of structure. The fact that there was something significant about structure was so obvious that if I chose poetry, I would HAVE to write about it. The thing is, I didn't know what to write about the structure, so it would have looked really stupid if I had chosen poetry and didn't write about structure. Therefore, I chose prose. Plenty of crap in that to write about. I wrote about how it was a journey/battle and incorporated stuff about structure and imagery. I wanted to kick myself about 5 minutes before the exam ended though. At that point I realized that I had forgotten to write about an "ascent out of hell" thing. Damnit. Oh well, I think I did well enough.
