Overworked, Underplayed
Man, oh man have I been stressed out! My supervisor told me last week that they were not giving me the time off to take my five week Windermere class. Great news...so I pulled a Kati and gave them my two weeks. Fortunately for me, the owner of the company kicks ass and hooked me up with a part time job with her brother (a real estate agent) working in the same office. That was a load off my shoulders. Greg, my new boss, is super cool and will pretty much let me pick my own schedule. It worked out pretty well and I realize I got pretty lucky there.
Paul's been working his ass off so we can bring the boat home in another week (hopefully). It sucks, I haven't seen him in days. When he is home, he's asleep. It's been pretty lame but I guess it's a sacrifice for now so we can play later.
I went and saw Jen and my little man today. He's getting sooo big. My mom's going to be in town in two weeks to see him and Jen so it'll be nice to see her too. They are planning to start trying for another in about six months. Woohoo! I'll be an auntie again.
I went and saw the Davinci Code last night with Tiffany. I thought it was really good...very true to the book which NEVER seems to happen when they make a book into a movie. I recommend it though, if you haven't seen it. It helps if you've read the book though, it does get a little hard to follow at times.
Anyway, I need to get back to work...neverending work....
