It was almost like the Hunger Games, but less violent.
I kid you not. Not to mention, still slightly unamused at my 'teenage'-like skin that's prone to acne. <-- Sad times.
Went to an Easter Egg hunt in Werribee with the family and watched the kids go on a egg hunt. More like just putting them in the fenced off area, have them in a circle with baskets, while waiting for the countdown and the organisers toss Easter eggs around. And then at the end of 3, the kids run in the centre and try to grab the eggs. It looked like Hunger Games. Literally. My nephew said there was one kid knocking into others and then taking their eggs. :|;; And here I thought it was all fun and games. Maybe not? :D;;
But Happy Easter
Well, it's still Good Friday, but we're nearing there. Also, much condolences to the families of the two who died, yesterday, when the wall in the city fell down. It might have been the wind which, contributed to the wall's collapse but it doesn't excuse the fact two people have lost their lives. RIP
Made choc chip hot cross buns. If you were one of the unfortunate souls to see them, when I posted them around 8am with wonky crosses...I apologise. Remind me never to never try them freehand again. Or to wear black when I bake (flour!) or try to be creative with melted chocolate. It was messy and I got chocolate on everything. :|;; It's sad I have an iPad, but I was using Klavier (laptop) to look at the recipe...I had to cringe at the chocolate smears and then spent afterwards cleaning the space bar and touchpad. Apparently the palm part isn't as effective as the fingers. On a sad note, I think after making them, I'm all chocolate out. Since it was choc chip and it had crosses from melted chocolate. And well, the combination was like a double chocolate bang. Or chocolate coma. I'm sorry, family. not really :D;
So's here the spoils for the end of the day. My niece and nephew's stash.
And Peter Rabbit. Because he's my favourite. :'D
