Happy Boxing Day
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family. :) And didn't KO too much from food coma. As I did. And it was awful. I think I ate too much food during the week and yesterday. Getting fat, is what the mother says. Ah-hha. Depressing.
And apparently I learnt it takes me a couple of hours to finish one glass of mulled wine.
After 1 1/2 glasses of mulled wine, 1 glass of eggnog, apple cider and running on 5 hours, I'm surprised I was still able to function. Oh hay! The niece and I were still up around 4am, watching nephew roll truffles. His fault for sleeping early. :D unfortunately, to everyone I interact with online, oh hay is my new favourite word. I'm sorry. I blame my brother for that, not for the oh hay, but for the drinks.
I don't think I made for drinking, most likely I would drink 1/3 and then give it to someone else. Sadly the sister doesn't drink, since she could have done it for me.
Is there any good fantasy novels with a strong female lead or good queer fantasy fiction? I'm not too fussed. I realise Lunar Fantasy isn't exactly my cup of tea. I know Mercedes Lackely writes strong female characters but I've read most of her works. :) I admit, I like reading novels with male leads but after awhile, it gets boring after awhile. :)
