A flurry of movement, this week. And I've still got one more day left.

I'm rushing through my training at work on the database with little trouble. Aside from my usual little blunders and missteps, I don't foresee any problems at my new job. Everyone I work with seems relatively docile and out-of-the-way. It's the kind of place that I can gladly pull a ninetofive on the side while I sort all this other shit out in my life.

I called the health insurance company today about my temporary benefits and they provided my member number. After zombie-walking my way around the office all week, requiring both hands and a great deal of effort to get out of something as simple as the passenger seat of a car, and that look of shock on Chris' face when I showed him how swollen my knee was, I bit the bullet and have resigned myself to whatever outrageous charges I'll have to pay to get it taken care of. My appointment with the doctor is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 11.

But,
The class is paid for.
The health insurance is paid for.
The phone bill is paid for.
The traffic ticket is paid for.
And what's left in my shriveled bank account should suffice to tide me over before my first paycheck comes through on the 22nd.

One of these days money won't be a problem.
