(no subject)
So, my sister had her twin babies on July 27th. I can never remember who was born first...for some reason. And I've been mistaken for their mom at least 12 times...I look like one of them, but the other looks like the spitting image of their red-haired, blue-eyed daddy. So, when he and I walk together...people assume we're the married couple. Odd.
I fell down today. Lame. Very lame. My side hurts when I sit a certain way. I miss my ice water, where did I leave it? I bet it's melty.
Uh, I am changing schools starting January. I will be going to Seattle Central Community College...studying various English & math classes, etc, until I meet the prerequisite for their Technical Film & Video Communications program in fall 2010. I can't wait. Eek. Then almost two years of that, transfer to Cornish or UW or something. And maybe maybe maybe go to an awesome graduate program in California...? Ooooh, how that would rock.
I filled out applications yesterday and looks like sometime next week I will be approved as an on-call substitute down at the preschool/daycare down the street from my house. Hooray, not a lot of driving!
Speaking of, supposedly I'm going to get a flyer so that I can fill that out & start driving. Soon. No one here can drive me much of anywhere often enough (my dad I can ask about 1 out of 10 times. Sister&Husband are busy juggling their four kids & work, so I don't want to bug them, other sisters I never ask to drive me anywhere & my mom works EVERY DAY GAHHH)
The good news for me is Aki Con next month, and it looks like I will have money for it! HOORAY. And I have to start sewing my first big cosplay project in mid-November. Hopefully done by April, lol.
I started playing WoW. Because, well, I figured I wasn't nerdy enough. Needed something nerdier to do. (Nerdiness: yay, level 32 for my NE hunter. I feel better getting past the 30 hump, cos before that my highest was a BE 23. Bleh.)
