Even eclectic music lovers have their peeves.
I just realized that I don't like Bossa Nova. I think it's overrated. It all sounds the same to me. Same tempo ranges, same instruments with limited variations of playing, whatever. I don't have any Bossa in my music library at all. Even more than trance, it's a genre I just wouldn't listen to if I had a choice.
Frequently studying in coffee shops (and McDo Katipunan) without any alternatives didn't really give me that liberty - thus triggering this realization. And maybe because oftentimes I just hear covers of many different songs - thus making those songs all sound the same, too. I snooze.
I just heard three Bossa Nova covers of Guns N' Roses songs in less than two hours. This is just like the time I heard Sitti's cover of Hinahanap-hanap kita. No, no, no, NO. This is so not right. I am not amused.
