Books recently accomplished:

Twilight - Not as bad as I was expecting.

Mary Queen of Scotland and the Isles: A Novel, by Margaret George - Very interesting historical fiction about *gasp* Mary Queen of Scots. Rather long and overly detailed in places, but a good read, and I'll probably check out some of George's other historical fictions at some point.

Dead Witch Walking, by Kim Harrison - I love pulpy "monster-based" alternate realities. Great world with witches, vampires, werewolves, fairies, etc. This is what the Anita Blake novels originally looked like before Laurell K. Hamilton became obsessed with furry porn. I'll definitely be reading more of these and will actually be starting book 2 of the series next.

Movies recently accomplished since the last time I posted about them:

The Producers - Funny as hell, but a bit overdone in places. I swear, Matthew Broderick does not age. Definitely good for a laugh, but I don't know that I would consider it a classic.

Jesus Camp - Like I needed something to remind myself that Evangelicals are scary as fuck. You should watch it, though, on the principle of "know the enemy."

Spellbound - About the Scripps National Spelling Bee. They follow 8 kids through the process. Very nice, I enjoyed it a lot.
