Back home and just in time for a lecture.
Last night actually Raiga was so talkative Kibito couldn't get a word in edgewise. I'm sure he's going to say something soon though. Oh well. It was an interesting planet we visited, despite the circumstances of getting there. Now that we are back on a planet that everything isn't alive, I feel, well, kinda of alone. I gave Raiga two stuffed toys I had bought there with a bit of money Lakota had given me after feeling bad that I had used all my money and then some to pay for the divorce.
The good news is no record of the marriage was ever sent to our planet, so as far as anyone was ever concerned, we were never married.
The planet earth has the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen on any planet. Raiga and I were up that long to see it. I called her in sick at school today, since she pretty much passed out on the couch and it seemed wrong to wake her up a short few hours. It probably wasn't proper of me to let her stay up talking to the wee hours of the morning, but thats the difference of being a parent and being a brother. That just reminded me of something but I don't know what. I suddenly feel like I forgot something.
AHH! THAT MONDAY! THE PEOPLE FROM HER SCHOOL WERE SUPPOSED TO COME OVER! I WAS GONE AND KIBITO AND RAIGA WERE BACK ON OUR HOME PLANET!
I knew I forgot something important. Oh great galaxies, I should call the principal and apologize. This is going to be a long day.
