The past 24 hours had been interesting for Penelope to say the least. From the time Scott had arrived until she finally had to lay down to sleep. She couldn't get over his odd behaviors, but she was growing accustomed to them somewhat. There was the bag-that-came-from-god-only-knows, then the ice scraper, then his need to leave behind his jacket as he stepped out into the cold weather. Scott was, to put it kindly, and odd sort of person. There was also the look in his eye he got sometimes when he was thinking about something. Penelope wished she actually knew how to analyze people's behaviors. Sadly, that job was her teammates, and she wasn't to keen on introducing them to Scott, not yet.
Now, though, Penelope had to say she was more annoyed by him than ever before. Requesting Christmas decorations in her house, a house that had been Christmas-less since she bought it, was not nearly as bad as this. Not even sleeping in only his boxers, which was just as bad as anything else, got to Penelope as bad as this. His snoring. His snoring had driven her crazy from the moment he laid down and shut his eyes. It had kept her awake all night as well.
But those hours she spent awake were not wasted. She came up with several ideas of how to wake him in the morning in a manner that expressed how loud and obnoxious his snoring was. She had pondered on it all night, and had come dangerously close to hitting him with a shovel but that might've caused unwanted attention from the neighbors and her teammates. So instead, she settled on a less violent bed.
The moment the clock struck 6:30 am, Penelope's normal waking time, she stood out of bed and grabbed the pillow nearest her. Smothering him seemed to be the best idea. Not to the point that he would actually suffer any, just long enough to jolt him awake. Penelope took quiet footsteps to the cough where Scott laid and very cruelly covered his face with the pillow, stifling a very cruel smile. She had suffered through the whole night, he'd live through half a minute of smothering.
