( I just LOVE this scene, because Buffy is just so damn cocky. She knows she's going to win,a nd she knows she's going to beat the ever loving shit out of the uber vamp. I especially love Buffy when she's all "I WIN. YOU LOSE. HAHA." And, I really loved when Andrew said the last bit. He's such an awesome nerd. )
Angel; "Buffy? What's going on? Where are we? I don't -- I don't remember."
Buffy; "Angel?"
Angel; "You're hurt. Oh, Buffy. God, I... I feel like I haven't seen you in months. Oh, my God, everything's so muddled. I .. Oh, Buffy... What's happening?"
Buffy; "Shh, don't worry about it. I love you."
Angel; "I love you."
Buffy; "Close your eyes."
( I have seen this episode, no joke, more than twenty times. And I have yet to NOT CRY when this scene comes up. It's just SO fucking heartbreaking. For months, the only thing she has wanted was to get Angel back, and she does. BUT SHE HAS TO FUCKING KILL HIM. GOD, JOSS WHEDON. COULD YOU BE ANY MORE OF A DOUCHEBAG!?!?! He knows how to get us where it hurts. What gets me every time is how Buffy smiles when he hugs her, and you just see her sob with relief .. and then she realizes the portal has already opened. I could never ever kill Brent. So, just so you guys know .. Brent ever opens a portal to hell? All of you guys are just screwed. I love you and all, but I could never ever kill someone I loved that much. Another reason why Buffy is THE BEST HERO EVER. But, Brent's a pretty awesome dude. So, I don't think that's on his agenda for anytime soon. )
