OMG A POLL

Jun 30, 2009 13:59

Hello there!

We often joke that support is the gayest place around, etc. etc. and in the past, we've done sexual preference polls, but it's been a very long time since we did one and/or one that uses the Kinsey classification system.

I'm aware that this content may offend you or you may feel it is in appropriate for supportlounge; that's why the rest of the post is under a cut, please don't click through if you would be offended by such things.

The poll is private. I will not disclose your results in any way, shape, or form. I will only use the results to compute an average score which I will reveal in a subsequent post. I may also break stats down by self-report gender and/or by priv level, but not within those categories (so not male admins, for example). Please only take this poll if you are actively in Support or hang out regularly with Support people.

Instructions: Answer with your current preference. If you "fooled around one night in college" and never want to do it again, don't consider that as altering your number. If you would "go gay/straight" for one person but nobody else, don't let that influence your vote either. Consider if you started dating again tomorrow, what would your likely preference be? Alternately, if you decided to fool around tonight, who would you go looking for? (I'm aware these may be different things. For the sake of argument, just choose the option here that you think best represents your typical attitude.)

I'm also aware that there are several people in Support who are genderqueer/etc. and as such, again, pick the option that you think best fits you. I'm not trying to force you into a little box here, and ultimately, if you don't think there's an option that fits you, feel free to not answer the poll; nobody will be offended :)

Poll The great Kinsey poll!

Comments are disabled. This isn't the appropriate place to elaborate on your response or to qualify it or anything like that. I'm interested in this more from an academic perspective and less from a "OMG MY BFF JILL IS QUEER" perspective.
