Okay, I just suddenly remembered a really easy and fun recipe for sherbet. Let's see how I go from memory, you'll need:
- 4 tablespoons of icing sugar
- 2 teaspoons of bi-carb soda
- 1 teaspoon of dry citric acid
Mix it all together in a bowl and add food colouring if you wish (though it can make it a bit clumpy). Add more/less of each ingredient to taste and to create larger/smaller batches ;)
Actually, I'm not sure what the actual measurements were: I may have mixed up the amounts for the bi-carb and citric acid... I'll have to experiment around with it again and work it out. Have fun!!
