I've seen that
"Millennials" article from New York Magazine around a bit, and while I think generational differences are interesting* and I definitely feel for you Millennials/GenYs** I find
this take to be hilarious. And, uh, more apropos. For me.
Generation X is used to disappointments. Generation X knows you didn't even read the whole thing. It doesn't want or expect your reblogs; it picked the wrong platform.
Generation X should have posted this to LiveJournal.
Ha!
*As an instructional designer, a key part of what I do is try to figure out how multiple generation types learn on-the-job
**Been there, done that whole "can't find a job after college" thing, as well as been laid off because of economic down-turns. Twice.

In other news, we're back in a rainy pattern here in the PNW (what's new?) but last week we got a couple dry days and a really spectacular sunrise. Did you know that Mount Rainier is the second-highest point in the Continental US? And when you are that tall, you cast a looooooong shaddow:
