I really like her structure, and the way she builds the tension at a slow-burn is wonderful. Though she's new to SG1 fandom (she's only watched through S4, so don't spoil her!) she's got a good handle on our dear characters. They come across as the mature professionals that they are, struggling with the weight of emotion for each other.

There was low-land snow last night in the greater Seattle area. I didn't get any, but still. SNOW AND IT'S ALMOST MAY. We are *shattering* our record for coldest April ever. Wah. I am never going to be able to get a vegetable garden in.

My neighbor's annoying, barky dogs are mysteriously gone. Are the neighbors on vacation and the dogs at a doggy hotel? Did the owners move out (it's a multi-generational family living there) and take the dogs with? I don't know, but the quiet is *amazing*. I am crossing everything I've got that they do NOT return!
