The news about Sally Ride broke my heart. What a huge loss. Man, I wanted to be her when I was a kid.
Now I have to find that Stargate vid to "We Didn't Start the Fire" where the vidder has Sam in her space suit during the "Wheel of Fortune, Sally Ride" line. Aw.

a_loquita is probably the only one who will care (unless there are other baseball fans on my flist?), but FML, the Mariners are trading Ichiro to the f$#@ing Yankees. For 2 "pitching prospects". Not *pitchers* but prospects. *cries*
God, I can't even articulate how horrifying and angry-making this is. You know, I could probably handle Ichiro going to ANY other team besides the Skankees. Just another nail in the Seattle sports coffin. *goes to put on her "Jesus hates the Yankees" t-shirt*

I'm pretty sure that I meant to post something fannish and upbeat instead of the above... something about how I was at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum and looking at the Spruce Goose just days before the Leverage season opener aired.
Maybe I'll do another post when I'm not you know, alternating between tears and rage!face.
