What is your favorite song by number 7?
Hmm. Probably 'Coffee and TV' or 'Tender'.
What kind of impact has number 1 had on your life?
That band has basically set the tone of autumn for me. Progressive bluegrass sounds very autumn-like to me.
What is your favorite lyric(s) of number 5?
This is technically from a Zero 7 song, but Sia sings it: "You're the ebony to my ivory key" (Somersault)
What song by 3 makes you happy?
Laundry Girl, haha.
When did you first get into 2?
High school. A friend sent me Illinoise and Michigan but I put them away somewhere and didn't listen to them until months later. When I finally found them, I put in Illinoise and immediately wanted to cry, it was so beautiful and awesome. The rest is history!
How did you get into 3?
Brad (ex-boyfriend-turned-friend) introduced me to them, the summer after my freshman year of college.
What is your favorite song by 4?
Hmmm... tough! Probably El Scorcho. (But I love so much from the Red Album and a lot of Rivers Cuomo's home recording stuff.)
How many times have you seen 9 live?
Hahaha. Unfortunately I was not born early enough for this to happen. Maybe Paul McCartney someday, though!
Favourite album by 7?
All I've heard is the Best Of album.
What is your favorite song of 1?
Probably 'You Are'.
How did you become a fan of number 10?
Good question! I think it was probably through an internet friend when I was 12 or 13; she does a lot of anime theme songs, so that's probably where we picked her up. She was so young when she got started, and it's been fun to listen to her grow as an artist.
Who’s the most attractive member of number 8?
Kate Nash, of course! She's adorable. Here's a photo:
What song of 4’s do you listen to the least?
I know this is blasphemous and all, but I really don't like 'Hashpipe'.
How long have you known 9?
I've been aware of their music for as long as I've been able to listen, but I didn't really get into them until I was 14.
Top 5 favorite songs by 5?
1. The Bully
2. Rewrite
3. Pictures
4. The Girl You Lost to Cocaine
5. Big Girl Little Girl
What’s your favorite cover by number 2?
Has Suf done any covers? Hmmm... Googling has revealed that yes, he has done some covers, but I haven't heard any of them, so.
Have you seen 10 live?
I wish! Maybe if/when I end up in Japan.
Have you met 4?
Nope. And I have a feeling Rivers is a douche, so.
What’s your favorite album by 1?
Antifogmatic.
Favorite lyric of 7?
"Sociability
Is hard enough for me
Take me away from this big bad world
And agree to marry me
So we can start over again"
What is one of 2’s best songs?
Oh my God, hardest question ever. I pretty much love everything Sufjan, so... I don't know. Of everything pre-Age of Adz, I'd say John Wayne Gacy, Jr. (for the creepy factor and the fact that it's a gorgeous song) or All Delighted People (because it's epic and the end kills me every time). On Age of Adz, definitely I Want to Be Well.
How many times have you seen number 2 live?
Once, on October 17, 2010 at the Uptown Theater in KC! Would love to see him again, though.
Which number have you known the longest?
10.
What’s your favorite song by number 9?
The anthology version of Something (Anthology 3, Disc 2).
Do you own shirts from any of these bands?
Nope, but I want to!
My paid account expires tomorrow. To renew or not to renew? Hmm.
