umm anyhow I've been absent from LJ for awhile so I thought I should post something...

here's a random sketch from the children's book I'm working on. hehe. It's actually going really well. I know I can get stressed over these things, but my boss has been really kind and loves everything I do.
I'm working on a ton of things not just the children's book. I'm also trying to win an upcoming art contest. The idea is to build something out of trash and make it art. I thought I'd make a totem pole.. haha I don't know what I got myself into. it's sooooo much work, mostly hauling garbage I find near the rail road tracks home is the hard part. I've gotten some wierd looks from people while dragging a car bumper home XD.
I'm doing this in hopes I can win the money. but I am also just hoping I can make something, it's gonna be fun.. wish me luck.
I've also been going crazy trying to make presents for people. more origami. I'm almost finished with the "hot air balloon" I'm making for my friend Harold. I must say it's looking pretty awesome so far. I'll have to post a pic of it when I'm done. I've got a long list of things I'm making for people and I actually have no idea how to make them I'm just figuring it out as I go along. I think I love trying to figure this kinda stuff out, it's so much fun even though it takes up a lot of my time. I'm hoping I can have presents for everyone for Christmas.
I've been doing a lot better healthwise. a while ago the heart doctor gave me the okay to exercize. whoo hoo! it's like only been over two years since I've exercized so uhh. yeah got some cataching up to do lol. I got to go on a walk down to the creek near my house. I've been wanting to do that ever since I've moved here a year ago. so beautiful.. also it feels so good to be able to get out of the house. and as I mentioned earlier I've been carring garbage home from the rail road tracks and such. I never thought I'd been doing something like that so soon. XD
I'm really excited about the election. I'll be voting for Obama. :) It's funny I live in a "Red" state so the politcal ads here seem completely opposite of what I normally would see in California. "Don't vote for Walt Minnick he supports tuffer gun laws." lol wut? I think that's a good reason to vote for him.
umm yeah.. I'll try to post more later besides just ramblings. :p
