I've been hitting the gym about four times a week now for about a month now. I am pretty pleased with what I am seeing so far.
I know it will still be few months till I really start seeing a huge difference. But it's encouraging to see something. My friend Jason has basically turned into my personal trainer. He is in great shape and gives me a lot of good advice. When I am not sure if I am targeting the right muscle or if I am using the equipment wrong, he's there to help me out.

I can already see definition where there was none before. Particularly my calves. My routine lately has been:

-Going up all 22 stories in the building
-Twenty minutes of jogging/walking on tread mill
-Fifteen minutes at least on stationary bike
-Light lifting, focusing on biceps and triceps
-Crunches for as long as I can manage (at least 60)

Altogether I spend about 45 minutes to an hour in the gym after work. At first I thought I would not ever get used to the routine, but now I am loving it. Plus it's super convenient that the gym is right here at my work. Here's to hoping that I will make more progress in the next few weeks so that I can look good for Halloween.
