It's been rainy and gloomy out today, but I am still feeling giddy about the weekend's prospects. Having a nice lunch with my friend Dante got me in a good mood. Right after work Mike and I are going to go have drinks with some of his co workers. I have met most of them a few times before and they seem like a fun bunch, so that should be good times. And then from there we are hitting up Friday Friday. For those of you that are not Tally natives, on the first Friday of every month Tallahassee's galleries open their doors for free to the public. There is a little art park here in town where a bunch of hippies reside that I like to check out on First Friday. They have a good number of little galleries and some cool vintage stores.
Tomorrow I am planning on hitting the gym in the morning, and then helping Audra paint her new house. Tomorrow night, not sure about that night just yet. Sunday morning maybe the gym again, and then a big long hike with my friend Troy. You may remember him from previous entries. He moved back! I am so glad he is back and now we can spend some QT in nature. And somewhere in there me tidying up the house. I can't wait to move to a smaller space, as much as I love that house, sometimes it can be overwhelming to keep up with. Especially with 5 animals running a muck. o.O
Work has been insane for the last two days. We have a virus that we have been trying to get a handle on. I think we have it cornered now, but there is still so much clean up. I am pretty dissatisfied with our anti virus Trend Micro. They have not provided very good support from what I can tell, and our software is up to date. Bleh! Oh well, I am just rolling along at this point, and what is the use in worrying? I will be gone in two weeks anyhow. Did I mention how excited I am to start my new job? And in less than two weeks Mike and I are moving in together. My life is still stuck in the transition mode, but not for much longer.
