Shooting yourself in the foot....
I saw this today on my local paper's site:
Crist signs $66.5B budget, vetoes pay cuts for state workers earning more than $45K
The state employees are shooting themselves in the foot. Refusal to accept pay cuts is how 63 employees, including myself are getting laid off. Now they will not accept these renegotiated ones. And Charlie Crist is happy to oblige with his attempt for Senate. I know no one likes a smaller paycheck, but it's better than you or the guy over in the next cube getting escorted out. I foresee more layoffs in the near future. Meh, I am getting off a sinking ship it seems.
