woah..........david update his LJ, wtf?
alright everyone, ima TRY to update this everytime i update my xanga (that's the only one i use 100% of the time)... but NO guarantees.....we'll see.
before i post the most recent update.. since the last time i updated i've:
gone to the moon and back w/my band.. no really, we're actually doing good! 170 people march 4, 130 people march 19...shows have been packed. we have 3 shirt designs, 3 button designs, and our new cd. ummmmmmmmmmm, TONS of shows coming up go to www.fortoday.tk ... currently booking our summer tours!!!!!!!!! that's gonna be amazing....
also gone to LOTS of outa town shows... along w/TONS to come... i have room in my van STILL for the following shows if anyone wants to go w/me:
friday april 8th - comeback kid, bane, with honor, & silent drive in Omaha @ Sokol Underground... 9 p.m., $12 ADV, $14 Door
monday april 11th - the agony scene, misery signals, reflux in Omaha @ the Ranch Bowl, 7:30 p.m., $14 ADV, $17 Door
and then there's other hot shows coming up such as:
friday may 20th - haste the day, nodes of ranvier, calico system, showbread, & number one gun in OMAHA @ the ranch bowl... and i sorta have room in my van for that one..but tix aren't for sale and all....
my van is currently FULL for this show:
saturday april 16th - underoath, the chariot, fear before the march of flames, & hopesfall @ sokol underground........ sorry for those of you who still need a ride!
okay, here's the new update...
so Sarah, prolly one of the coolest people i work with, and one of the only one's i talk to (it's not a really active/interactive job....which sucks) bought our cd tonight... she really likes the band, that's awesome... yesssssssss... it's weird though b/c now like my older co workers (sarah's 20) who are like 50 are all like "ur in a band, what syle of music?" - david says "melodic hardcore" and they either give you a look of confusion or concern, hahaha...... it's great....
anyway
after work ryan called me and he needed to get out of merril/lemars so he came over, we ate some pizza, talked, showed him the new buttons, hung out, listened to The Agony Scene, Misery Signals, Showdown, & Alexisonfire, watched him play vid. games, etc.... then he left around 12:15 b/c of dang parents, oh well...
TIMBO IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! b/c of him my drums sound super effing amazing now.......................woah... he surprised me w/an easter present (a much needed one)... i've totally changed how my drums are setup now too, you'll see it at the show..
stoked for the show TODAY....
