well that was the worst thanksgiving ever. officially. ugh.
thank god, my ladies were there to dramatically improve my mood/life by dinner and mean girls.
other than that, life is fantastic. i have a job [a crappy one, but a job nonetheless], i have awesome parents [who are letting me stay rent-free for as long as i want and are uber supportive] and my ladies [here, miles away and my trans-atlantic one] are fucking fabulous. what more could a girl want? well, getting some poon would be nice. that would be like a cherry in an amaretto sour...
for anyone who hasn't heard - i shan't be heading to the UK at the end of december. besides not wanting to leave at the moment, it was too effin expensive. so i'm gonna start looking for a decent job/car/apartment/etc. grad school can wait. i'm only 22, i might as well live an exciting life now, so i'll have good stories for my grandkids someday. and of all people, my mom understood AND agreed with me. no reason to rush around to end up unhappy. right now, i'm happy and i'd like to stay that way for a while.
things to remember:
- family holidays are horrible. try to avoid at all costs.
- boozing with cops is awesome.
- my friends are great. all of them.
- coffee is always there when you are irritable and you need something to calm you down.
- jello shots are not the answer to yer problems.
that is all.
