OH DEAR GOD I LOVE YOU *FAWNS*

I honestly was not expecting much, as it's this weird little pairing that popped into my head as another facet of weird crap for my darker fic and it has a lot of things going for it I very sparingly enjoy (such as an unusual age difference). It grew into something real for exactly the reason that I gave this prompt - they're two very reasonable, wise, smart individuals. I sort of expected a drabble and hence was blown away by the scope of it.

and Mr. H is a coffee addict and terribly hot and he needs to start being real so I can jump him

I really enjoyed your ability to convey just what sort of person Rhyme was and who she'd become through some very simple and non-flowery descriptions, which were nonetheless really very effective. The image I particularly liked was her wearing Beat's sweater but being a meticulously studious and intelligent person.

There's so much more I can say, but there's only so much room in one of these little comment boxes, so suffice to say I loved it, and I'm excited that such an excellent writer accomplished attracting more people to my favorite TWEWY pairing.

i've never been good at being able to convey an idea in just a few paragraphs. i need more narrative and visuals. i also wanted to explore how she figured it out, his reaction, her reaction, etc. mr. h's internal monologue can get rambly.

i was kind of nervous about writing rhyme, but i found her voice with relative ease--that rarely happens to me with a character. i normally have to start and drop a couple fics before i can get the hang of them.

the whole thing went pretty smoothly for me in general. it's really strange--i normally hit a wall and have to grind out the next few paragraphs. but the second i saw your prompt i had an idea and just kept throwing down a couple of sentences whenever i had time.

it might have something to do with how excited i was to write this in general <3 it was a great prompt that just settled happily into my brain.

i'm really glad that you enjoyed it. i know i sure as hell enjoyed writing it :D
