lessons from sex and the city

I'll admit it, in my endless quest to relieve boredom, I've been watching Sex and the City. Now there are many things I could say about it and I may elaborate on some of them at a later date, but I just finished watching "Hot child in the city" and there are some things mentioned that I'd like to comment upon.

1. A million dollar bat mitzvah party is insane, no matter what "super sweet sixteen" might say.

2. When a 13 year old girl insists that having sex and giving blowjobs is the only way to get guys to like you....the teenager inside me rejoices at the things our children are learning while the human being inside of me cringes at the thought of what girls like that will be like when they are older. although admittedly these were spoiled New York brats so I get the self-esteem issues.

3. What's so wrong about enjoying comic books? Why is that a barometer of nerdiness, at least it's more interesting than that mainstay of male fantasy, professional sports.

To sum up, if I ever have a daughter who acts in that fashion, I will admit to being a terrible parent and ship them off to military school.

P.S Comic books are amazing. If you don't believe me I have 3 comics that will utterly change your mind.
