(no subject)
Oh livejournal, I you and I have quite the history, don't we? I started blogging back before the word "blog" was coined. Way back in the year 2001.
But something happened this week that smashed the last nail into your coffin. Trag joined myspace. I know, I know, if it wasn't for you, Pierre and I would have never found each other. But why keep a livejournal purely for this reason when I have my closest friends on myspace? It doesn't make a lot of sense, does it?
You'll stay here, a pristine and accurate description of the last six years of my life. I've had so many experience that I've shared with you; my first trip to England, going to NY with the choir, our engagement... poor dead Xavier...
I'll never erase you and I'll come visit, I promise. But I have this new life over on myspace and it's silly to ignore the pull of that place. People who would never have a livejournal suddenly have a myspace page. What's a girl to do?
I know you've felt the drift. It's been obvious, but I thought I would make things pretty darn clear. My opera buddies, people from shows I've done, college friend and not to mention my family are all over there. I've crossed to the darkside baby and I'm not sorry.
