Well to start this blog lemme tell ya, viral bronchitis is NOT fun.
Ok, this is purely updatish and not introspective at all...readers be warned, very little thought and intelligence are going into this blog.
I'm up late and typing to the sounds of my parent's way too heavy breathing, which my sister just said "makes me want to hit them both in the face"...loving family that we are, we have reconvened as a family here in Pascagoula, MS along with my paternal grandparents to go to a cousin's Episcopal wedding tomorrow at 1030 in the am! A ridiculous time for a wedding might I add. I informed my mother in no uncertain terms that my wedding, when and if the day ever comes will certainly not be before noon...
Mom and I drove down after I put in a few somewhat useful hours at work while Sarah, Dad, Granny, and Gramps all came on early this morning so they could attend what was apparently a fun and large rehersal dinner.
My family is yet to kick me out of the hotel room for excessive coughing so I feel as if I've had a sucessful night tonight. I also got to eat my covetted crawfish ettoufe for dinner and while this version was different I got to eat my mini lobster like friends which delights me.
There was lots of amusement and good discussion in the car ride...and once we got here my sister forced me to watch Meerkat Manor while I threaten to put in my headphones if one of the little boogers died...we're funny like that and she's now obsessed with animal planet/discovery channel.
I got my two pillows so i can sit up and sleep and hopefully not spit up too much crap in the am for this insanely early wedding we must drive to...we're outside of Ocean Springs which is where the hitching will be taking place.
On a side note, we may be going to the beach! I brought my lovely new bathing suit to breaking a little more before the big beach bash with the lab in July. We will definitely have to hit up Walmart since I decidedly left the tanning oil in Nashville before hitting the road so as to avoid a spill. Interestingly enough, the Super Walmart down here no longer has enough workers to stay open 24/7...dad went around 10 to get stuff for my grandparents and an extra wedding gift for the couple...however the on duty guard said that so many of their workers never moved back after the hurricane that they can't stay open all night! I truly did not realize the full extent of all this.
Regardless tomorrow will be fun, maybe we can convince the twins (our other cousins we rarely see) to come w/us to the beach...much Hamilton girl craziness would ensue I'm sure...either that or maybe will go shopping in Foley!
Hopefully my sister and I will recall enough crazy things that are said and occur tomorrow for me to have a hilarious (at least to myself) blog later this weekend.
