Poem 1
Things that glitter
Things that care
Things that sparkle
But never are fair.
Shine beneath moonbeams
Overarch the heart
Shine beneath sunbeams
But always fall apart.
Seeing is believing
Truth beknown true
Feel a little deeper
Skin that feels so blue.
Open ended questions
Protrude the demeaning soul
Open expressed dementia
Alone. Black as coal.
Heart so high it swims in clouds
Never known such love
Heart so low it slips beneath
A whirlwind of stares.
Lie down with me, my darling.
Lie down beneath the waves.
Let them crush our bodies into one
my darling.
Let us part in never ways.
Lie beneath the sunset.
Lie down beneath the moon.
Lie with me forever more, my darling.
For the last petals of the rose
have fallen.
fallen.
into my heart,
with you.
Poem 2
Diamond of the Heart
From the moment I met you
I knew you had to be
the one special person
a soulmate for me
Your words are like sunshine
in my dull dismal life
You lift my spirit high
out of the toil and the strife
You keep my heart happy
More than I thought I could ever be
You’re so precious to my heart
Poem 3
Intensive Love
When I am around you
My heart begins to race
I know that I love you
From your embrace
When I am around you
My knees turn weak
Especially when
We're cheek-to-cheek
Your tender touch
Melts me away
Reminding me that I wish
Wish that I was with you everyday
The power between us
Is so intense
That when I am around you
I can't make any sense
Any sense of what I am doing
Or who I am
All of my thoughts
Has caused a traffic jam
The traffic jam
In my mind
I don't want to leave you
But I need to unwind
Unwind my feelings
And my deepest thoughts
For right now
It is all tied in knots
I don't know what I am doing
I don't know if it is right or wrong
Is it just a friendship?
Or is it the beginning of a love song?
poem 4
MOON
The grass has grown and is luscious green.
The flowers have blossomed and bloomed.
I see purple, green, orange, and blue,
Under the middle spring moon.
In the distant sky I can see
The sun setting in the dark blue sea.
Across the horizon the ocean shimmers
As the waves begin to simmer.
The sky goes from pastel to dark
As the clouds begin to disappear
And night comes near.
I sit and watch the stars twinkle
Under the midnight moon.
Then down my cheek rolls a tear
As I hope
With you is where I'll be soon.
poem 5
Smiling whispers over crackling wires
Giggles of happiness bubbling from inside
A word of love, my heart flutters
Butterflies in my belly.
A missing warmth by my side
A ghost of a touch on my skin
The memory of a voice
A smile in my heart.
poem 6
The Night Was
The night was cold
I bare no coat
Your warm touch
Carressed my shoulders
The night was warm
I bare no cool
Your cool touch
Carressed my face
The night was wet
I bare no cover
Your dry touch
Carressed my body
The night was lonely
I bare no love
Your invisible touch
Carressed my broken heart
poem 7
The One
Not a word that I know can explain you
Not a person I know can compare
Not one single thought inside of me
That questions if you care
A few weeks of friendship led to
These first few years together
Every day I look forward to living
The next with you, forever and ever
Your dark, brown eyes when laid upon me
Still make me melt inside
Your sweet voice makes me smile
Knowing that in you I can always confide
You fill me with happiness and pleasure
You can always make me laugh
You sense when I'm needing some comfort
It's you that was my missing half
Your lips are so soft and tender
Your touch is so warm and gentle
Your emotions are so sentimental
Only a few of many reasons why
It's you that I love
I can't imagine my life with out you in it
I'm only safe when you're by my side
My heart aches when we can't be together
These feelings I simply cannot hide
I've dreamt of that day I walk down the isle
Holding your hands in mine
Just the thought brings happy tears to my eyes
I know that things would turn out fine
My heart will always be yours
My thoughts will always be of you
I'll give you all I've got to offer
Please remember that my love for you will
Always be unconditional and true.
poem 8
Flowing through my veins
Wildflowers
Like a starry night
I stitched words in my heart
stitched forever
If I could I'd send it to the stars
Write it in them
Let the world see
Are you a dream?
My lifes ambition amplified?
because of all this
chaos
all these ghosts
Haunting me in my sleep
scrawling their messages in my
heart
signing it with
love
you say in my eyes is forever
but how long is that?
forever was their love
and now it is gone
like a star
dying fast
I don't want us to be a flicker
I want to dance with you in twilight
live off love on wings
Laughing in the clouds
as we become the old fashioned stars
we always admired
I'm love struck
speechless
heart in vines
let it take me away
I'm too drunk on love
to even see I'm falling
just like our star
poem 9
Would
It would be sublime
To let my lips graze your stomach
Skin so soft
Tender with beauty
Suppressed words
Forever said by your sighs
A windless calm
In which to create our own unreality
As I would lift you gently,
And you would burst in ecstasy
To taste your sweat
To kiss away your tears
To see you in the softest of lights,
Lips parted and eyes gazing at me
Your exposed body shimmering with a soft glow
And to let ourselves go
Indulge
And it could not be obscene,
Only romantic, sweet, and right
For us to fall in love
In each other's arms
