I don't really have anything deep on my mind tonight. I just thought I should put up another entry before I forgot about this whole thing.
I watched Memento tonight with my mom and brother. It's such a wonderfully entertaining movie, and they even put a little something to ponder in at the end. Do we lie to make ourselves happy? That is, do we convince ourself that something is true simply for our own happiness? I think we do, but it's hard to pinpoint exactly what. Perhaps something to pay attention to...
We (my mom, brother, and I) are headed to Philadelphia tomorrow morning. One of the things that I've really come to appreciate about my upbringing is the amount of travel we've always done. We've been to Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, Connecticut, Vermont, Arizona, and California. And those are just the places we've visited... not counting where we've driven through. Traveling is wonderful... seeing new places and meeting new people. It's all very fascinating.
Well, that said, it's about time to go pack. Have a wonderful Easter!
