Seder
Tonight I go to lj for the first time in days. I actively closed the tab - and myself off from it - a few days ago when I was overwhelmed with seder prep.
It is now done. I had a great evening. I...I am so grateful for my friends, both old and new. I feel like they are one of my biggest achievements and as such tonight was, in part, a monument to them.
I'm content. Admittedly, this is partially because I no longer have the CRAZY of the last few days and partially because wine and strawberries and macaroons and wine and I don't even know whose wine I'm drinking.
Even I can hear my english accent right now. Well, in my head, because I'm not speaking outloud. I miss home, but I do feel like I've really managed to make this home at the same time. Plus? Everyone said nice things about my cat. That makes anything good.
I think people had fun tonight. I hope so.
