Smile-making
I got two emails that made me smile today. One made me feel all melty and grin-y; the other was from an old friend from England. Whom I haven't seen, or talked to much since I left. The comfortable feeling and the fun feeling is still there. She was one of my best friends then - we told each other everything, in a ten year old kind of way - and that same ease is still there in our talks. She ended with "we have a lot of gossiping to catch up on" and I really want to. She also passed another one of our good friend's email along to me and the idea of reconnecting with that part of my life is amazing. I really want to see who they turned into.
So one happy, melty lovely part of my new life and one sweet and positive part of my old life.
Now when I go to the post office and get one of the best parts of my life? I think that'll make this a good day.
Just in case it's not enough though, there's the reading tonight. Who is going? Call me and let's meet up first since I'm assuming it's general admission and I'd love if we could all sit together. Then however many of us are going up to CV afterwards, we can go together and perhaps there will be fooding along the way.
