Onto other news. I've been in pain all weekend. That's been a real blast obviously, although Blazing Saddles and late night pizza almost make up for it. While I did not get to set up the reading-meeting for tonight (sorry), I will potentially be able to buy boots and watch a movie. Wouldn't that be exciting?
And there's a chance they are going to strike tomorrow. My boss' oh-so-useful suggestion, in case of a strike? "Wear a mini-skirt and hitch-hike to work." Apparently he was referencing a movie Clark Gable movie...? But yes, chances are unfortunate that if there's a strike tomorrow I'll have to walk to work. And die. But that's ok, because my other boss reliably informed me that his cell phone number is in phone booths across NY if I need to contact him, just not men's bathrooms because that's "tacky".
Work, obviously, is kinda fun occasionally.
