Guiness, rehearsal and sleep-deprivation

I'm killing time till I go get into costume. The show starts at 2, so why, do you ask, am I not already getting into costume? Because my boss in an asshole. Ah well.

So the first show was Monday night. It went surprisingly well - I really only felt awkward during the set change - and I even got the choreography for Leader of the Pack down despite being taught it in about 10 seconds during the show. And Simone was great about grabbing my hand and dragging me where I'm supposed to go.

Then yesterday my scene partner quit the group. Smart bastard. So I got assigned a new partner and scene - one I am not nearly so fond of, at all - and now have to rehearse everything again. In addition to which, Robert and myself were supposed to go out after rehearsal last night - potentially with a bunch of other people - for GUINESS, but then he had to split because he had an emergency at work (although he promised to make it up to me by having the amazing restaurant he works for deliver dinner for us tonight) and I ended up getting stuck with this slightly weird guy who - I later realised - kept trying to kiss me. Oy. At least he failed miserably.:) Although at one point I actually had to physically push him away before he got the hint. The same guy who is doing sound for the show today.

OH! And a reviewer from Time Out is coming to see the show today. Gulp.

In other news, this weekend was mostly fun. Exhausting, hot and drama-filled (not mine however, so that's nice)but good. Sunday night especially was really sweet. I got to meet Andrew's sister who is SO adorable. AND I got to see EVAN! Yay. I miss him.

And now I think I'm going to go costume it up. Perhaps a coherant entry later. I apologise to all of you who have made it this far through, but have one question. Why are you still reading?
