Dreaming of home

Last night I dreamt that I'd gone home. I was staying at Rachel's; we'd been camping for a weekend. Then Monday morning came, I put on one of Rachel's uniforms and we went back to TS. And everyone was there. Except, considering how long it's been since I've seen them, they all looked like stretched out versions of themselves at 13. It was interesting too that the first class we went to was an acting class. We didn't have acting classes back home. We had LAMDA which were private classes, but no school classes. Ah well. Emma, Mark, Simon - everyone was there. Things happened - including having my lines written out on a bodice - and then we went ballroom dancing and I waltzed with Mark. Oh and Carly's hair was longer. Why was she the only one who changed significantly in my dream?

I woke up this morning feeling rather english. I tried to reach for a fag (and you know I don't smoke in the mornings before getting up, showering, tooth-brushing, eating, etc.) and hit the remote for the telly. Telly was one of the first things I gave up saying when I came over here!

In other news, Jane's freaking out because I don't yet have a set-in-stone schedule for when I'll be performing. Which is ludicrous as even Lindsey pointed out. Ok, so maybe pointed out isn't quite the word. He started every few seconds saying "wait, I don't get it, they haven't give you a sche-" and then we'd both start laughing. And Jane would say "buuut -'. That happens a lot in our house-hold.

I'm sort of freaking out about performing, so I've decided to channel my energies into coming up with a costume. If I can find the black leather pants, that's a good start. And potentially the black fishnet shirt with the red tank top over it? And then perhaps some duct tape strategically placed. I think we're bare-foot though, which is nice because shoes would be a pain in the neck. Oh! And I can use the black hair bits. I need to either find someone's wings or make wings though. I'll have to figure that out. If I make my own I can decorate them. :) And then I have to figure out hair - high bunches? One spiky bun? I'll figure that out -- and makeup. Alternatively, if I don't do the trousers (they'll get really hot under the lights) I could do black fishnets and a black skirt. Then I'd look sort of like the black opposite of Taylor's pink. That could be interesting.

JT gave me a bunch of scenes - I think I need to make a selection by next monday, but earlier would be better. I think I'll rule out the father-daughter scene in Proof, despite how much I love it, because everyone does it. But oh how I love it. So perhaps it's not completely out. And then there's a couple fun scenes from The Shape Of Things by Neil LaBute. So that could be interesting. There's one post-sex scene in that I sort of like, and a great scene where Evelyn, the art student, is about to graffiti a sculpture and Adam - the guard - talks to her about it.

And now I should go, do some emails and stop avoiding life.

If I can just find my trousers I'll be good to go. One of the email address I need is on them. *Not* in them, *on* them.
