Happy Star Trek DVD Release Day!
I know, I know... I haven't posted in a million years. It's not that I'm abandoning LJ -- it's more that my life is reeeeaaaally boring right now and I have nothing noteworthy to post about. Also, the computer situation is tricky, but that might be resolved soon. So if anyone cares, I might be back more often soon enough. Or something.
I am strangely attached to the Glee soundtrack, and also Michael Buble's new CD, "Crazy Love". Basically cannot get enough of either of them.
We're heading into the holidays, and I'm going to try to be merry and all, but money is so tight this year that we're not having much of a traditional Christmas. It feels selfish and petty to be upset about the lack of presents, but it's really not the getting I enjoy, it's the giving. I hate the fact that I don't have the cash to go shopping for my family and friends. I'm going to come up with an alternative -- a homemade coupon for some kind of service or a funny little piece of original fic starring the gift recipient or something like that. I'm still pondering the possibilities.
