(no subject)
ok there has been a lot going on. i'm excited because i'm getting a new cell phone tomorrow. the only thing it doesn't have is a speakerphone. but it has a flash camera phone with a zoom too. So i'm pretty excited. That and i'm also going to prom with my dear friend molly.
I have a couple of pet peeves right now. One, whoever is giving Carl a hard time, don't. Grow up. That means use discretion, think, give people some credit for living for a while, breathe in and out, and then calm the fuck down.
Two, stupid people should not work in schools. Right now my sister is working as a parapro for a girl who is included in a general ed classroom. Muscular dystrophy, perfectly good intelligence. well I guess you need a little background info...this girl has had the same parapro for like 12 years or so and this lady was competent but she hurt her back and couldn't work anymore. Well since then this girl who is now use to everything being organize and have someone that will at least decent notes and could write stuff down in her planner, has been surrounded by idiots for a lack of a better word to politely describe them. So as one would a imagine a girl who is middle school and has every right to bitter the world has given these people a hard time. She has been through 10 parapros in the past month or so before she got to my sister. Well like usual Kristen saves the day with her genius and things have been much better for this girl and the staff because Kristen and only Kristen has gotten this girl to be polite. All the girl needed was person who can use common sense. but anywho apparently today the girl accidentally knocked over her empty milk carton. Well that started world war 3 with some custodian. Why? We don’t know really. Since the poor girl has MD she can’t pick it up, so what did she do? She asked her friend politely to pick it up for her. It’s a good thing my sister is working with this girl.
