And I forgot the author already. Its ok, I like the "young" voice aspect of it although the narrative ran in the same tone throughout the whole book, even though her age changed from like, 9 to 16. But whatever. I like the mocking of speaking in tongues. What I didn't like? The sexualization of breast feeding. I guess its because I tried it, but every time she described it I just thought "ew. there's nothing hot about that". Unless you count the burning boobs. Because that's hot. But in a hot poker burning your flesh kind of hot. I suppose you can read it if you want to, and to be honest I read it in about two days so either I couldn't put it down because I liked it, or because I was in homework avoidance mode. I choose the latter.
