So, a "New Year," and hopefully a new start and beginnings, right? Hope so. I am on the quest for a job, and Monday morning I've got a few places to fax my resume to, so hopefully I'll get a call. That would be great if I could start working soon. Then, if the first job goes well, I'll see if I can get another small part time job. Bills must be paid, and money must be saved for other things as well as school. He's covered with school cuz of the good ole military, but me, I have research to do, and money to save. I know that I need to go to school, don't get me wrong, but the way money is, I don't want to have another student loan lurking out there when I have tons of other bills that haven't gotten paid all the way down, and a husband in the expensive land of Korea. It really sucks. So, a job is a must. My spending habits since he's been gone hasn't been too bad. It's mainly contributing to bills here at the house and food. Nothing outrageous. Other then that things have been good. He's been there for three months now. It's gone by pretty fast if ya tell me. I miss him a lot, and it's a good thing that I can talk to him a lot of the time. Except for right now, he's in the "field." Whatever! The "field" consists of them going to another base and sleeping in another set of barracks for three weeks. I mean, when he was packing he was like "oh baby can't forget my laundry detergent." My mouth just dropped and I said wow, that's some kind of field. A lot of those guys, when they get back to the states and have to go into the field, they're in for a rude awakening.

Things here have been pretty lax for me. I'm not doing too much and just looking for that job. This one potential one that I really want, I have to drive about 45 minutes to get there, but hey, it's good experience, and it's something I want to do and have thought about that field. I hope that if I do get hired this will be one of those experiences that I can learn and hopefully make me want to continue the dental field. I wanted to be an orthodontist at one point, and maybe this will help me out if I can get this job as a dental assistant. We shall see, and I'm still going to put in apps everywhere. Trying to avoid retail as much as possible, but I think I may have to do it. It's a means of paying bills, right? I'm looking for waitressing jobs cause it's January and from now til March is the best time to get in and trained before the summer starts. Ah, summers in Florida, I miss them I tell you.

Anywho, that's all I guess... oh, and no resolutions for me. I think I will try to eat healthier though. I have been so far, fruits are my friends!! Mmm... fruit and walnut salad from McDonald's sounds great. That's one thing I miss about New York, the 24 hour McDonalds that was about 3 minutes away. *Sigh*
