wow
you know what i'm tired of? i'm tired of liars. i'm tired of people saying they'll do something and won't. i'm tired of people saying one thing and making you think that it's true but it's not. i'm tired of people being two-faced. i'm tired of people acting like they're doing something right knowing damn good and well it's wrong. i'm tired of people saying that something will happen knowing that it won't. i'm tired of people saying the truth knowing that it is the truth, it's just not going to happen anytime soon.... sort of like a false promise. i'm tired of a lot of things, period.
well, montreal is ha.... the drive wasn't as long as i thought it would be. uhm... our hotel is pretty nice actually. i mean, it's not huge, but it's quaint and cute. and no kat, we didn't stay at the one you said was super pretty.... too much for us to afford! but, maybe if there's a next time. needless to say, the traffic here is HORRIBLE. they have got to be the worst drivers ever, and i thought i was bad, oh no, i am a SUPERIOR driver compared to these people.... ARRET does not mean stop, it just means "if i feel like stopping i will." seriously. and yeah, how about 99% of the streets are just one way. that's aggravating. we got lost like a million times. but, it's been fun so far. we're gonna go out tonight and sight-see tomorrow and go home on monday. going on this trip put us in the hole again, but we needed to get away from Drum, and get away from NY. we're gonna be dead broke.... *sigh* but, he goes to JRTC soon, so i guess i'll just sit there and see if i can pay the chase bill and then he can use that and some cash that i'm gonna give him. it sucks being broke and well.... ya know, yeah. but, definitely we had to get away from NY cuz we were just going crazy and it was just a get away from it all. i was iffy about the trip cuz of our money situation, which i'm still not at ease about it cuz we had to buy a tire today cuz the other one was pretty much BALD. yeah. canadian tire was our friend today. so that just set us out A LOT of money cuz they didn't have our tire in stock with a four-season, just a winter tire. yeah, that sucks. $300 canadian and we don't even know what the exchange rate is, we're not going by the one at the exchange center cuz it might be different, but seriously.... it sucks, cuz that put us really in the hole. SUCK SUCK SUCK. but, these two guys were talking about me, i may not know that much french but i know a little... just when they start talking really fast, ha... yeah, i quit... but these two old guys said i look a little like catherine the great? yeah, uhm.... compliment, or no? yeah didn't know what to think about that... i am getting pale as hell though, i need to hit up the tanning bed!
well, last night i wasn't too much in the mood to go out, but we walked the street and went to a few bars.... hate the fact that they use counters, and the drinks are so damn expensive. errr. and on another note with the hotel, we are dubbed the stupid americans, ha.. yeah, write about that one later.
so yeah... aside from more shit happening on our supposed get away things are ok. i haven't gotten to use my one phrase my mom taught me... for the majority, they all speak english. so it's not too bad, but maybe just once before we leave i'll get to use it if we talk to someone that speaks no english at all. i wish he'd hurry up and find his way back because i am hungry and i don't know what to order since we were ordering out! errr.... hungry. oh yeah, we ate at this really kick ass italian restaurant. it was extremely good food and the service was great (besides the moose head that was mounted on the wall... haha). but, it was nice, and so was this cafe we stopped at. yuppers. this was definitely a good get away, now, if only i can like WIN THE LOTTO. that would be fantabulous.
