I just thought it was ironic... I wandered into your journal and intended to apologize again, which I do, but when I read this I just thought it was funny that I fit practically everything you listed here except the perk "Red hair." And every action that you liked, I've always done for girls I've cared about.
Then I realized how one difference can outwiegh hundreds common interests. Cause I'm sure I'm not on the list of possible great friends to you right now... so yeah... anyway... that might be a good one to add for a healthy relationship, "Has the same standpoint of Homosexuality."
It was encouraging to see that some girls are looking for things like:
-Must be a Christian -Must not drive a new truck -Must not listen to country music -Must not work out a lot/ have really big muscles (that one I love)
It just gives a guy like me hope... a skinny, poor boy that likes used clothes. So thanks for that.
actually my friends list is just where i was thinking of putting you. the majority of my friends don't agree with me on the homosexuality thing so thats not really a big deal to me. besides, i liked the fact that you were willing to go up to bat for God like that.

p.s. the working out one was one of our favorites too. running and whatnot for exercise is fine but working out purely to have bigger muscles then everyone else is shallow and just plain annoying. i know that i don't care that much about how i look so why would i want a guy to
Hey, and I love to run too, funny, funny. I ran cross country all through out hs. Partially to blame for my SUPER metabolism. I couldn't gain weight when or if I wanted too. Anyway, all is good. Glad to see you knew where I was coming from. I really felt bad. Good deal.
theres only one on my list 1. must be matt thiessen (don't fret, it covers all the other categories, as well as 609. plays music 610. plays music for God 611. (could) play music for me ) love, joanna
No, I don't believe so. There are a lot of things out-dated in that list I would change but that is definetly not one of them.
Being a christian is something really important to me and I think I'd probably have a hard time relating to someone that didn't have that as an important part of their lives.
Its the same reason I don't think I could ever date a republican. I just don't know how I could ever relate to that.
so you're saying that you couldn't date a guy who was just as devoted as you are, to his religion, but was, for example, Muslim? Or Hindu? If his God or gods were just as important to him as yours, doesnt that mean he shares the same values as you do? Does the guy have to share your exact same God or simply put himself under the label of "Christian" to be adequate for you?
you obviously misunderstood the whole point of the entry. this wasnt a checklist of all the things a potential mate has to have. this was a PERFECT boyfriend list. this was what my boyfriend would be if i could create him out of thin air.
