(no subject)
well its been a while since ive been able to update but i've been way busy all this past week...
seriously i had so much homework and things to do including trying to go to a planning meeting for class oh and it was cancelled..nice!
yeah but saturday we had to do a breast cancer walk for rowing..we did it for our athletic traniner from last year..it was a really nice thing that the team did...even if some people didnt show up...ehhemm..anyways
then striaght from there we had to go to practice and de-rig to boats for traveling and well that took longer that expected and well we all know i went to the thrice concert on saturday night but sarah (my bestest friend sarah) lol thought i would clear that up for ya, was getting here at like 2:30 i basically had like 45 minutes to get around which was pleanty of time i just felt rushed...so we were on our way to the state theatre in detorit...it was so easy to find..i want to go there more often its such a neat building...anyways so we get there and there is like a line of 400 emo kids it was redic..lol..no serisouly i've never seen so many emo kids i thought they were going to break down and cry right there...so after walking down like 10 block until the end of the line...surprisingly we didnt have to wait in line to long...so we get there and they were so strict about people being on the main floor and in the balcony luckily we were on the floor..so like 3 bands played before thrice...and if anyone ever gets a chance to see underoath on tv in concert whatever lol please,,,,pleasee!! watch the keyboardist i mean its serisouly a comedy act...ive never seen anyone so into the keyboards i mean the band had like 6 memebers then him...it was like he was a fan he was so into it..i couldnt stop laughing...haha in fact im laughing right now thinking about it..hahah...anyways so then came thrice...so me and sarah pushed our way to the front..seriously we like to get into it and act crazy..lol...the crowd was intense i broke my ankle and got punched in my chin/ neck like at least 10 times..but hey it was worth it? haha of course..thrice played for 2 hours..then at the end dustin did an encore of stare at the sun acoustically..well that was HOT haha...but during the show i thought i was going to pass out it was so rough..this one i just looked around me and suddenly i was in the middle of the biggest mosh pit ever i was like AHHHHH!!....i made it out alive...obviously..i just know i love thrice so much because they are so extremly talented i mean they sound exactly like their cd everytime..its awesome..i want to see them over and over and over and over again...:)
we got out of the concert at like 9ish back her by 10 but of course i had to sleep soon cause we had a race today..had to get up at 5:30 so i was little tired but not to bad...our race went well..some boats won some other took good places..and the weather turned out to be really nice so that was plus considering it was suppose to rain this afternoon now im here listening to thrice again..i cant help myself..putting off homeowkr of course and we dont have practice tomorrow morning so i get to sleep in for once
