Grades

Nov 06, 2008 18:12

Well it's about time I posted grades. We aren't allowed to point out mistakes to our professors during the test, so if there is a vague question or one with more than one correct answer, we have to wait till after the test at a scheduled session to argue our point.
So these grades may not be what I actually got.

Gross Anatomy Written = 89.3%
Gross Anatomy Practical = 81.3% <--- SUPER subjective, very likely to get a lot of points back... Edit: I ended up with an 89.3%
Developmental Anatomy = 91.07%
Biochemistry = 90.66%
Histology Written + Practical = 92.2%

Overall, i did MUCH better than i thought i would. I was aiming to pass, instead I high passed and honored all my tests! And i was even scared i failed Biochem. I left that exam thinking "I have never been so unsure of so many questions in my life." I'm still in awe of my own grade. *gapes*
But i did study my butt off. But so did everyone else. The difference between me and them is I slept a decent amount at night, i think. Most people who did poorly, or not as well as they hoped all said that they wished they had slept more throughout the week, cuz they were all cracked out during the tests.

In other news... I love this school and the professors. So supportive and helpful. They want us all to do well and get so happy for us when we do do well. And when we don't they try to figure out how to bring our scores up.
Dr. Marshak was super happy I did well. He's also excited about how his son is having a good time at Tulane. I also piqued his interest when I told him about my thalassemia. Apparently his wife is a genetic conselor.

Anywho. All is well again in the world. Except the fact that they gave us a light load this week in terms of school work and I don't have my boyfriend around to spend that extra time with >_
